NXP TEF6686 auf Arduino

Mein TEF von Aliexpress ist angekommen. Firmware 1.21, Variante mit 3 Reglern und silberne Knöpfe. Teleskopantenne ist mir nach 5min abgebrochen, was für ein Schrott. Habe mir einen Koaxdipol 2 Mal 70cm gebaut. Mit Peitschenkabel an den SMA. Erster Scan am Nordwestfenster war überragend. Heute ist aber Tropo. Alex neben Ortssendern geht heute und Scholzplatz. HR heute sogar mit RDS, auf 87,6 kam zeitweise NDR2 aus Hamburg hörbar, hat noch nie ein Taschenradio bei mir geschafft. Ist schon ein Hammerteil. Erster Test bestanden, bin positiv überrascht.

Jaja die gute Antenne,meine ist die Woche auch abgebrochen,man beachte auch den dünnen Pin,der wohl irgendwie auch als "Sollbruchstelle" dient...
Ich habe mir jetzt bei Amazon gleich 2 neue bestellt. Die sollten heute noch eintreffen.
Am Wochenende werd ich das Gerät mal im Kurzurlaub in der sächsischen Schweiz nutzen.

Wo ich gerade die Bilder von der Platine des TEF Empfänger auf dxbeograd.blogspot.com sehe, ist für die Front ein vierter Taster sowie für die Rauschsperre das Poti vorbereitet.
Wenn man diese nachrüstet, sind die dann funktionell oder muss die Firmware vorher angepasst werden?
Und welche Funktion hätte der vierte Taster?

The firmware we are working on will not have a squelch option due to the intention to add other interesting features to the main menu.As for adding a potentiometer, it is possible and would work with previous firmwares. I don't know what the fourth button is for.

AF as an auto switch option is possible, but the lack of a second tuner would make the transition rough. We need to check whether it is worth adding an option, which is still only profitable in cars.

AF is possible in the version to display all frequencies plus the reception strength of each individually, with the possibility of manual activation of each.

Question for everyone, how many memory units do you think is enough to display a scan of only the strongest radio stations?

Finde nichts gutes drann wenn bei einem DX Radio die Antenne abbricht.
Reklammieren und Bewertung reinschreiben....
Die sollen gleich eine brauchbare und weniger abbruchgefährdete Antenne von Anfang an mitliefern.

Meiner meinung nach ist es ein Produktmangel wenn bei so vielen die Antennen bei Erstbenutzung abbrechen.
Die Tef Radios haben von Haus aus stabilere Antennen verdient.
Ist man unterwegs und es bricht die Antenne ab ist das beste DX Radio wertlos bis man Ersatz bekommen hat.

Ich hab die mitgelieferte Teleskopantenne gleich bei Seite gelegt.
Wenn ich Scanne, dann nutze ich einen Teleskopdipol.
Auf dem Tef hab ich ein Adapter von SMA auf IEC Weiblich geschraubt.
Und da der Teleskopdipol eine etwa 50 cm lange Bandleitung(300Ohm) hat, reicht das vollkommen aus.
Und da die Antenne Richtwirkung hat, so kann ich Nachbarkanalstörer besser ausblenden und der Tef regelt das Filter weiter auf sodass RDS eingelesen werden kann.

Ich denke, er meinte eine Möglichkeit Lokale Sender zu speichern.
So, wie man es auch bei einem Autoradio machen kann.
Suchlauf auf Lokal starten und die Lokalsender werden abgespeichert.

Als ich vor Jahren meinen Airspy gekauft hab, da hab ich auch gleich eine Teleskopantenne mit SMA dazugenommen.

Yes, just like a car radio scans a selection of the strongest (local) frequencies, it is also possible to add a dBuV or dBf signal level next to each frequency on list or memory list.

This would be possible only with the use of the Internet and GPS.
There will be more menus,we will see what can be added, thanks for the suggestion.
The memory should be used for the right things, the device works very fast, so it should stay.
If we are going to add at least 10 positions for local signals, then the reception strength threshold should be moved to say 60dBuv?

What we will implement for sure is that the RDS RT scrolls only when there are more characters than there is space on the display and that the deviation scale is in KHz as in the case of professional devices.

For the peak meter we will probably leave a choice of 3 display accuracy resolutions.
