hier ein von mir durchgeführter Test (leider in Englisch):
"...I compared these top 3 digital tuners:
1. Yamaha T-85
2. Onkyo T-9990 (europe model of T-9900II)
3. Kenwood L-1000T
Here in Germany we have very difficult conditions for radio
reception: FM in 100kHz steps and transmitters each 20-50 miles, many
of them with 80-100kW power.
- I tried to receive a station (5kW, 30 miles distance from here)
which is 100kHz away from a strong transmitter (80kW!, 15 miles
from here). My results:
1. Kenwood L-1000T
2. Onkyo T-9990 (europe model of T-9900II)
3. Yamaha T-85
In the described test the T-85 was not able to receive the weak
transmitter, only signal from the 80kW station. By the way: All
tuners were tested in "(super-)narrow"-mode. The 9990 produced a poor
stereo sound with distortion from the strong station. Mono came with
(nearly) no noise but still with distortion from the 80kW
transmitter. The 1000T produced a good stereo sound with some noise
but no distortion from the strong station..."

“I chose for the selectivity test a PBS station in Buffalo WBFO 88.7 MHz
(distance ca. 120km), which is between two local stations (+-200kHz), and
the 88.9 being a very strong one. By switching the antenna between the
tuners, they stack up like this:
1. Kenwood L-1000T
2. Technics ST-G90
3. Technics ST-G70
4. Yamaha TX 1000U
5. Yamaha T85
6. Kenwood KT 990D
7. Technics ST 9030
8. Kenwood KT 917
9. Kenwood 600T
The first two stand out of the bunch, especially the Kenwood which
makes (sound vise) a better use of the signal. At the time, both of
them were able to recieve in stereo, without audible noise, while the
rest could only do it in very noisy, mono, or not at all."
