I have tested the Software.

Tests on same longyagis and lna and splitter.
Using 2 Astrometa DVB T2 Sticks and
one RTL-SDR.COM Stick.

Using Astrometa Sticks with Oldenburger RTL_TCP from 05.04.2022.

Classic Prahe has other error corection 2B.

Qirx stoped audio first. (RTL-SDR Stick)
Dabplayer stopped audio a little bit earlier than Abraca DAB Radio.
Slightshow is also more often seen by Abraca DAB Radio.

Sometimes seen problems.

2 Times no Audio, Slighshow is seen.
Rarly seen sync problem.
After closing the software and new start it was fixed.


Problems seen from Dabplayer.
Sometimes hanging on fading signals. (Need tune to a other station)
Few times loud audiopeak before stopping audio.

Thats my subjective testing....

Could you please share more details about sync problems? Did it loose sync during reception and not able to recover? Did you use "software" or "device" AGC for your tests?

Ii happens some time after zapping trough other ensembles.
Only Dabplayer plays audio.

After newstart from AbracaDABra both programms play audio.

I have tried to address most of the complains I got here on the forum.

Changes:

• settings redesigned
• RTL-TCP IP address configurable
• new structure of ini file, some settings from 1.0 will be lost, it is recommended to delete ini file and to set the application from the scratch. To do so, delete ini file before starting the application:
  • MacOS / Linux: $HOME/.config/AbracaDABra/AbracaDABra.ini
  • Windows: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\AbracaDABra\AbracaDABra.ini
• new RTL-SDR experts settings in ini file (details in project README)
• volume control in application
• dark mode support on MacOS
• improved SNR detection in SDRDAB library (thanks to Bernhard Kistinger for consultations)
• AppImage for Linux available (built with Ubuntu 22.04)
• many small changes and improvements

I don't think it's an issue, but could you give me a hint, why I always need to execute the following command, before I can use it under Ubuntu 22.04?

echo 0 > /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/usbfs_memory_mb

Yes, I have the same experience and I had the same problem on ArchLinux. Since I use Linux only to build the application and try it briefly, I do not mind to execute the "cat ... " command.

I see audio problem on Arabella Bayern.
Poor Signal Andis Dabplayer with audio.
AbracaDABra slightshow is loading but no audio...

After opening the file the service list is empty or deleted ?

Service list is deleted when device is changed to Raw file input. This is done by purpose to avoid mixing live ensembles with recorded.

I will look at the audio problems, it seems there is some problem but not clear at the moment, I cannot reproduce it on my antenna signals and it seems not to be present when playing from file. It will be tough to debug, it would help if you can share any recording that could be used to reproduce the problem at least with some probability.

EDIT: actually the fact that SLS works but not audio is very strange supposing it is in PAD not in secondary service. For PAD case, SLS needs in general many consecutive AUs with correct CRC so it is more demanding than audio.
