AbracaDABra - multiplatform SDR for RTL-SDR USB sticks

If I click on the installed program file with open option it gives up wthout any response just one time short moving of the icon
For debuggig in finder I started abracaDABra not with open option but show content of package in german "Paketinhalt anzeigen"
I then navigated to /Contents/MacOS then right click on the shell script of AbraCaDABra selecting open.
This opens the shell window and shows shows the error I posted in my last message.
For testing I did the same on version 2.2.4 and it displayed reading the config and started abracaDABra as normal,
We can now change to PM. I will try to help to solve the problem.

What does "FEC scheme applied" mean?

FEC stands for Forward Error Correction that is Reed Solomon in case of DAB. It shall be used for packet data services although there might be still some transmissions without it. It is signalled in FIG 0/14. As there might be cases without it, it is explicitly mentioned in ensemble description.

But I don't understand why the text doesn't appear each time I switch to the ensemble.

It could be because the information was not yet received at the time the application is creating the description. It should not happen because FIG0/14 shall be signalled each 96ms but if you can reproduce this behaviour on particular ensemble I would like to analyze this case.

Currently I am using a hack (your debug parameter) to start the tool delayed and automatically record the service and shutdown then.

Because I regularly record a weekly radio show for around 25 years now just digitally.

Cheap USB sticks have inaccurate crystals. My worst stick has a 50 ppm deviation! I therefore miss a setting option for ppm in "RTL SDR" and "RTL TCP" in Abracadabra. The first picture shows the stick without correction. In the second picture I corrected the quartz in the command line of rtl_tcp.exe. The difference of SNR is huge.
