am 1.Juni wird in Polen der Regelbetrieb von dab aufgegnommen.Erst in Warszawa,Gdańsk,Gdynia,Sopot, Wrocław und Poznań.

Ich bin diesen Sommer in Polen, das werde ich dann mal ausprobieren

Das ist wohl das Testensemble von dem hier mal irgendwas stand.

DAB Polen wird erstmal wieder aufs Eis gelegt. Die bisherige, hier veröffentliche Plane, werden nicht realisiert. Zu teuer!

Yes, Polish Radio gave up DAB+ project.

Polish Radio is in a bad finanial situation.
Management considers close, long wave 225 kHz transmitter.
225 kHz is the last AM broadcasting station operating from Poland, excluding a few, very low MW private stations (max ERP 800W).
225 kHz(224 kHz, 227 kHz) is a historical frequency.
Polish Radio operating on this frequency since 1931.

By the way, is there any chance we could see AFN starting to broadcast in Poland soon? (as part of NATO and US military interests)

US military has only plans to contract 3 FOLs in Poland (Forward Operating Locations), those usually house only very few military or service personnal. There are no US military bases in Poland, so there is no reason why AFN should be rebroadcasted there.

Polish authorities choice DAB+ for further digital radio broadcast.
For now, there is one test DAB+/DMB station in Warsaw, operating on 7B in H polarisation with 2 kW ERP.
Receiving DMB video in city bus..
Radio content:
PR1, PR2, PR3, PR-RDC, ZET, RMF, Maryja, TOK-FM, Chilli-ZET, RMF-Classic, ESKA.
Mobile-TV content:
PR4 - Czwórka na Wizji - stream (after advertisement)

I think there would be no reason to use the old MPEG Layer2 (DAB-Classic) standard.

Vor 2 Wochen war Ich in Warschau mit im Gepäck war mein Philips DA9011.
Auf 7B konnte Ich ein Testpaket empfangen.
Zu empfangen war Polski Radio 1-3 und Radio dla Ciebie.
Folgende Infos liefen durchs Display.
Testowa emisija DAB+
dla wymaj
pozdrawia Radio

Empfang war im Hotel einwandfrei,mein Hotel befand sich gegenüber vom Kulturpalast.
Hoffentlich haben sich keine Schreibfehler eingeschlichen.

Schreib das mal bitte hier http://radioforum.foren.mysnip.de/read. ... sg-1015594 rein oder der Admin kopiert es rueber. Da geht es schon um DAB in Polen.

Seit Mai hat sich dann aber die Programmanzahl deutlich weiter verringert.
